Great choice, Junior Scientist! Today we're doing the "Balloon in a Bottle Air Pressure" experiment. Let me explain what we'll discover together. Warm air inside the bottle cools in ice water, taking up less space โ€” lower pressure sucks the balloon in. Warming the bottle makes air expand and push the balloon out. That's air pressure at work!

๐Ÿงฐ Materials Needed

Plastic bottle
Balloon
Warm water
Bowl of ice water

๐Ÿ“‹ Setup Instructions

Ask an adult to help warm the bottle, then stretch a balloon over the mouth.
